Fees & RebatesTalking matters provides a range of rebate options for children with autism to access therapy

Are you looking for affordable support for your child?  At Talking Matters we strive to make our services affordable to families.  There are a number of rebates and funding options that families may be able to access to help with the cost of their child's service.

Information about the costs involved in having your child assessed or enroled for therapy are listed here;

Medicare Funding for Autism/Asperger's assessments

Individual assessments may be claimed under the assessment schedule of the Medicare Autism Initiative if you have plans in place for this. This gives a rebate of $71.95 for each session, $143.90 total. The child needs to be under the care of a paediatrician or psychiatrist who has indicated to Medicare that the child is being assessed for Autism Spectrum Disorder. For more information about this initiative please download an information sheet (pdf).

Autism Spectrum Therapy Fees
