Early Intervention Packages

Helping Children with Autism & Better Start

Eligible families can use their early intervention funding package from FAHCSIA to purchase services from Talking Matters.  Eligible children can access individual and/or small group services with a speech pathologist, occupational therapist or psychologist.  

All families accessing services under this program will have an intake meeting to complete the required paperwork and plan what assessment and therapy needs to be included in the individual plan for the child.  This will be followed by another appointment to complete the required assessments and plan specific therapy goals.  Therapy sessions are typically 30 minute sessions and are charged at $90, however hour long sessions can be arranged for children who would benefit from longer sessions.
