Referral Information
Are you a health or education professional working with children or families who need the support of a speech pathologist? Talking Matters staff are committed to working with our local health professionals and providing input into the management of children with communication and learning difficulties. We support children with: speech and language delays and disorders, stuttering, Autism or Asperger's Syndrome, dyslexia, Down Syndrome, developmental delay and auditory processing disorders. Should you have queries about referring clients under the Medicare initiatives please contact us and allow us to be of service to you. We have provided additional information about these initiatives on our Medicare page (see link above).
Provided below are downloadable forms that can be used by health professionals to identify children who may need speech pathology or occupational therapy services. Once completed the forms can be mailed, sent along with families or faxed directly to Talking Matters on (08) 8219 0128. Alternatively appointments can be made by phoning the office on (08) 8255 7137.
