After such a challenging but successful year, we are having a break from Wednesday 22/12/21 at 3.30pm for two weeks.
When we re-open we will be on modified hours for the first week, and then will return to standard hours from the following week. Our trading hours will be:

COVID Update - effective 23rd November 2021 [SA Border Re-Open]
Talking Matters and the Torrens Health Group want to assure you that we continue to be committed to supporting you with services in a safe, professional and sustainable manner.
To achieve this, the following will be required from 23/11/21
- Only attend the office if you are well. If you have any COVID symptoms please opt for Telepractice or cancel your session. Cancellations received by 3pm the business day prior will not incur a cancellation fee.
- Face masks are required while visiting the clinic. Please ensure they remain on and are well fitting for the duration of your visit.
- QR Code Check-In. Continuing our preference for QR code use, however if you don’t have a smart phone we do have a manual option available.
- Clients and caregivers only. Please do not bring additional people into sessions unless they are required for specific care. If you are needing to care for additional children, you are able to supervise them in our outdoor area or you are able to wait in the car and our clinician will bring your child out at the conclusion of your session.
- Talking Matters Media. To keep up to date on the latest changes that may affect your appointments, follow us on Facebook or check our website www.talkingmatters.com.au
- Workers - double COVID Vaccination – As per Government requirements, all workers visiting site (including Talking Matters staff, paid carers, delivery drivers or suppliers) must show proof of vaccination status (or final dose booking) to enter site.
- Client Vaccination - We will not be excluding clients based on their vaccination status.

COVID Update - effective 23rd July 2021
In line with the latest LOCKDOWN announcement, Talking Matters has moved sessions over to Telehealth rather than providing face to face appointments. We can also use this time to catch up with phone reviews for the parents that would like this service, or if you are wanting some additional support during these trying times. We thank you for your understanding and patience while we work through the process of contacting everyone and confirming what your choice for services are over this coming period.

CANCELLED Staff Event - Office closing early 30th July 2021
Our office will be closing early on Friday 30/7/21, from 5.30pm for a staff event.
Your clinicians will be pre-arranging alternative appointment options for the families that this will impact. Our staff will be back onboard Saturday 31/7/21 as per our normal hours.

COVID Update - effective 7th July 2021
In line with the latest announcement, restrictions have eased and the wearing of masks is no longer mandatory in our service. We are still maintaining the one way traffic flow for all people entering and exiting our Elizabeth Downs Clinic.
Please continue to QR code checkin and "show us your tick" as you arrive at reception.

COVID Update - effective 30th June 2021
In line with reverting back to stricter COVID measures as announced by the State Government 30/6/21, masks are now required to be worn while attending all Talking Matters sites. QR code checkins and "show us your tick" will continue to be routine, and we also continue to have Telepractice options available if this is suitable for your circumstances.
We have also instituted one way traffic flows throughout the practice as much as possible, so when you attend the Elizabeth Downs office, you will now be entering through the door to the right hand side (under the verandah) and exiting through the main front door.
Please minimise bringing additional people to the office where possible, one adult per client is ideal. We will also be initiating a "call from the carpark" for our school holiday services to advise you are in attendance, our office number is 08 8255 7137.
Please keep safe everyone and keep up to date with the changing requirements. Talking Matters will be posting updates on our website, Facebook and Instagram to help get the information out to all our families.
